If it was a texture issue I'd imagine the two textures it flickers between would look of a different style.Īll of the visual mods I've installed thus far all come from the Skyrim Ultimate Modding Guide where I attempted to install them very carefully and in the proper order so that the files overwrite each other in the correct order. Because the textures it flashes between look very similar, this has lead me to believe that it could be some form of tessellation or parallax issue (if I understand properly what those effects are trying to do). It only does this when I'm moving or changing the angle I look at it (very similar to what triggers the notorious z-fighting glitch with the mountains). In my pursuit of modding skyrim with my newly acquired 980 ti, I ran into an issue that affects the rocks and any rocky textures where it flickers between what looks like to different textures of the same type.
